Weisman Art Museum: Be Dazzled Holiday Event

Please join me at the newly renovated Weisman Art Museum from 4-8pm, along with a dozen other artists. There wil be a variety of art from pottery, paper products, to jewelry. Weisman members as well as university staff and students receive 20% off-just show your i.d. I'm very excited to be participating in this year's Maiden Minnesota event taking place at Graves 601 from
5-11pm. Maiden Minnesota is a fun, socializing and charitable shopping event featuring some of the best women-owned businesses in Minnesota. More than 35 “Maidens” will show you their fashion, jewelry, accessories, home décor, specialty food items and more. The event will feature exclusive sales and merchandise, as well as a silent auction. Maiden Minnesota 2011 will help support and raise awareness for Project SUCCESS, a local non-profit, youth-development organization.

Trunk Show at Blended Blue

Walker Art Center: Local Artists Gift Mart

The Walker hosted its very first holiday Local Artists Gift Mart in the Target Gallery December 7-9th. Three jewelry designers including myself were featured along with a myriad of other designers showing their incredibly creative wares: clocks, totes made out of recycled billboards, stationary, home accessories, screen printed clothing, stuffed toys, books, and even crocheted accessories!

Odegard graciously hosted the launch of the new Yen
Chee Design Online Jewelry Store on July 16th. Guests enjoyed organic fair trade wine, horsd'oeuvres, red velvet cupcakes, and white chocolate dipped fortune cookies. Congratulations to Mollie Drabik who entered her name in the drawing and won a Yen Chee Design necklace! Thank you to everyone who attended!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support me at the Walker Art Center May 9th. It was so great to see so many dear friends, and to meet so many new ones too.
The event went so well that the Walker has requested to showcase my jewelry designs. My online store is also scheduled to be fully operating next month, so to celebrate we're planning a Yen Chee Design launch party – stay tuned for more details!
