Walker Art Center: Local Artists Jewelry Mart

I've been invited back to participate in the Walker's Local Artists Jewelry Mart May 8th, 2010. In attendance will be a dozen talented local jewelry designers. Trunk Show at Blended Blue

A special "Thank You" to Marcy Russ, owner of Blended Blue for inviting me to her new showroom at International Market Square for my first trunk show of 2010. We enjoyed a pre-Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year celebration of champagne, chocolates, jewelry, and gorgeous furniture and fabric. And, of course great company. Walker Art Center: Local Artists Gift Mart
December 7-9th, 2009
 
The Walker hosted its very first holiday Local Artists Gift Mart in the Target Gallery December 7-9th. Three jewelry designers including myself were featured along with a myriad of other designers showing their incredibly creative wares: clocks, totes made out of recycled billboards, stationary, home accessories, screen printed clothing, stuffed toys, books, and even crocheted accessories!
Launch Party

Odegard graciously hosted the launch of the new Yen
Chee Design Online Jewelry Store on July 16th. Guests enjoyed organic fair trade wine, horsd'oeuvres, red velvet cupcakes, and white chocolate dipped fortune cookies. Congratulations to Mollie Drabik who entered her name in the drawing and won a Yen Chee Design necklace! Thank you to everyone who attended!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support me at the Walker Art Center May 9th. It was so great to see so many dear friends, and to meet so many new ones too.
The event went so well that the Walker has requested to showcase my jewelry designs. My online store is also scheduled to be fully operating next month, so to celebrate we're planning a Yen Chee Design launch party – stay tuned for more details!
